Simon Howlett is an experienced web consultant based in Ames, Iowa. Over the past ten years since leaving university Simon has been concentrating on building up a level of knowledge and expertise allowing him to fulfill employers and clients requirements when it comes to web development and consultancy. Further notable experience in software testing, business continuity and disaster recovery provide a broad range of business and technical skills.

Outside of the IT arena, Simon is also a DJ, who can be heard weekly on KURE 88.5 in Ames Iowa, and seen out playing records in clubs and bars regularly.

Simon has worked on a number of large scale web publishing and development projects, and related works, including;

• The launch and maintenance of a FTSE 100 listed Gas Utility Internet and Intranet site.
• The launch of a FTSE 100 Listed Oil and Gas Utility Website, following company merger and rebranding.
• Development and launch of subsidiary company Websites & Intranet sites, and providing user training and support as required.
• Development of bespoke web based applications for a large multinational company.
• Providing end user support for a large scale companywide knowledge management application.
• Coordinating trials and deployment of webcasting multimedia technology at a UK Gas utility's Corporate Headquarters.
• Supporting both bespoke and off the shelf web based software with technical documentation and user training material.
• Planning and project management of the deployment of a large scale web content management system for a FTSE 100 Corporate.
